Tutorial: How to resize a game window.

Ever play a game that doesn’t allow you to resize the window but you wish there was a way you could?
In this video I take a look at Scott’s Window Resizing Utility:
,
which is a free software that can help you to resize the window of programs or games that are running in windowed mode. This could be quite useful for some programs or games (such as some games made in RPG Maker) that may not normally allow resizing of the window.

  • men, i have a really good but a little old proyector wich is 800×600 resolution native vga (wich is better than a lot of new proyectors who had 320 pixels or 480 of native resolution) and i dont know how to fake another resolution like a lot of tvs that say full hd (1080p) but they are hd reescalated (720p).
I had this idea of using games on window mode but not so much games have that resolution, minecraft, warframe, emulation games yes but i need some way to change the scale and thanks man, i will try this

  • Can you do this if the game is already minimized? I want to make my window smaller but its already at full screen, and I can't figure out how to change the size of the window. I would love to keep my game at this size, but after a few minutes of game play, the screen just minimizes itself. I know if I make the window smaller, it'll work fine.
